Lucky Slice Pizza
It was all a dream!
We started making pizza in a little hole-in the wall on Ogden’s historic 25th street. It was a bit of a hail mary, but we had to go for it. Pizza by-the-slice was our bread and butter - serving the hungry lunch crowd, random passers-by, and of course the late-night drunkards from the Ogden bars. Since then, we’ve graduated to three locations throughout northern Utah, and serve a full menu of slices, whole pies, appetizers, and more!
Make it better!
Some people claim that our pizza is “the best”. Hell, we’ve even won some awards over the years - for what it’s worth. Realistically, our pizza is just a reflection of our processes. We choose to make all of our dough & sauces, shred our own cheese, and prepare the majority of our ingredients fresh - right here in Ogden, Utah. Those ingredients plus the fact that we craft each pie by hand using age-old techniques equals a better pizza than those made from processed ingredients and machines.
Pizza ‘til Death
We’ve always had the mantra “Pizza ‘til Death”. When we started saying it, I don’t think we really knew what it meant. It just sounded cool. Nowadays, it’s kind of our battle-cry, and our sense of purpose for doing what we’re doing. As if pizza was our life calling! To that, we say hell yeah - and stand by it wholeheartedly. From the accounting to the cooking and everything between here at Lucky Slice, it’s Pizza ‘til Death.
