The Ultimate Test of Friendship…

On a recent bike ride with a good friend, I made a wrong turn. Well, at least that’s what I thought. As I realized my folly, I turned to them and tried to apologize for my mistaken path. I was caught off guard by their quick and remarkably Taoist response… “there is no wrong way”. True that, Master Yoda.

On a real note, this is such an interesting perspective to have on life because as we have all/will experience… life is full of people that are quick to criticize and slow to listen. Especially when another decides to do something differently. Perhaps the most freeing thing one could ever do is to live life like no is watching. Initially, you might feel a little self conscious, but the more you participate in this beautiful life dance, the more that you will push away the haters and attract those that are meant to be around you.

Our NINE LIVES: ALLEYCAT RACE is all about figuring out your path, solving problems, and doing the best you can. Teams of two will complete location based challenges to earn clues that will lead them to the next location, which must be reached via bicycle (no e-bikes allowed). First team to complete all 9 challenges and cross the finish line wins! The NINE LIVES ALLEYCAT RACE will take place in Ogden, Utah. The specific start location will be announced via email 1 hour before start. Registration is $25 per team of two.

So this is more than just a test of how fast you can ride your bike, but also about how well you listen, take feedback, and can work as team!
