Pizza and bikes: two things that shouldn’t be governed by rules or kept in a box. This group of friends put that theory to the test by spending 4 days bike-packing through the Utah desert with a pizza oven and an appetite for the unknown.
Although, one thing was certain… it would be a Group Effort.

EXCERPTS FROM THE CREW

“On the first night we beat tristan to the campsite - which was about 200 ft off the road - but when he arrived, he didn’t see us and just kept going. We tried to flag him down, but he just kept driving off into the sunset - with no phone service or radio signal and no idea where we were supposed to be camping. So, we just hoped and waited… and about 3 hours later he returned, thankfully, because he had the pizza supplies and the cooler full of bevs! Sorry Tristan.
Taylor Gallegos
the whole trip I thought to myself “be more like Fisher” He is the adventure master but also knows how to chill better than anyone. He’d bike faster than anyone just so he can get ahead and chill or take a nap. So epic”

The discovery of any new passion seems to always start with one hesitant, but hopeful “yes”. Then you blink your eyes and are biking through the Utah desert, enjoying the scenery, and feasting on pizza, beer, and dijon mustard chips. Really, your friends are the ones that make your time unforgettable. Everyone gives a little bit, contributing to the overall whole, thus turning new experiences into sentimental memories. Frankly, there is no other way to describe what being on the trail felt like… It was a “Group Effort”.

“I can sum up my thoughts on the trip by saying: this was the perfect speed to see the white rim. Everything about it was awe-inspiring. And everyone made it that much better! There was no “ride faster to make it by sundown” it was just “pedal and take in all in”.
Even when Tristan missed our camp on the first night and we lost him for a few hours. We knew he’d be stopping to take photos and enjoy his journey. Meanwhile, we watched the most peaceful and beautiful sunset paint the red rocks a bright orange while we admired in silence.
One of the most memorable trips I’ve ever been on and can’t wait til I get to pedal thru that scenery again!”
